Tim & Maddy in the Bella Gown
Maddy and Tim eloped in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with 40 of their nearest and dearest. The two said 'I DO' on the rooftop of the Cloudveil in downtown Jackson. Tim and Maddy had always wanted a more intimate and western setting - and their special day was that and more. It was so simple and special.
The Couple's Love Story
Tim and Maddy's love story begins unlike most fairytales, but one that proves destiny always finds a way to bring two soulmates together.
From the very start, Tim was intrigued by Maddy and wanted to take her on a date. In their office parking lot, Tim saw his chance to ask her to a concert. However, six months pregnant with a baby on the way, Maddy, understandably, declined his offer.
But Tim wasn't one to back down that easily; his persistence eventually led to a casual date: a happy hour rendezvous at a local restaurant.
The bold move was worth it! Time got away from them, spending three hours together at the restaurant. Conversations lasted, and eventually, it was the waitress who ended the date for them – shooing them away at closing time. Despite Tims charms, and persistence, Maddy still felt the relationship would not work at the time.
Fast forward a year and the two finally reconnected, both feeling the stars had aligned and it was time to explore that spark.
Today, we are celebrating Maddy and Tim’s wedding, proving that this love story just needed some time to truly come full circle. Now, with a 3.5-year-old boy whom Tim has adopted like his own, their story is a true testament to trusting the process.

From Grand Plans to Intimate Moments
Like their love story, the journey to the aisle also took twists and turns of its own.
Maddy and Tim’s original intention was to host a traditional wedding in their hometown of San Clemente, California. However, four months prior to their chosen date, they shifted their perspective. The idea of a grand celebration no longer felt like ‘them’.
Maddy shares, “we decided to cancel our wedding at home and elope to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with only 40 of our closest friends and family.”
In a short period of time and without the help of a wedding planner the couple had created the most beautiful and intimate setting, with subtle nods to Western throughout. They opted for the downtown rooftop of the Cloudveil as their chosen location, where guests were able to take in the panoramic views of the picturesque glacier backdrop, stunning mountains, and a serene lake; a venue infused with Western aesthetic and surroundings.
While country-style weddings often tend to lean toward rustic elements and strong, dark features, the couple's celebration took a laidback and modernised approach. From the vintage Western-style font invitations to custom cowboy hats and accessories, the landscape effortlessly complemented the soft tones and laidback styling.

The Experience Behind the Dress
When it came to the dress, Maddy always had her sights set on becoming a GRACE bride. While she already knew she’d be walking down in aisle in a GRACE gown, narrowing down her favourite wasn’t easy, as Maddy “truly loved them all”.
In the end, Maddy chose Bella, a gown that compliments her simple and laidback aesthetic. The gown aligned perfectly with how Maddy envisioned herself as a bride: “Someone bold, elegant, and timeless”. Featuring a flattering silhouette, a thigh lengthening split, and an understated neckline, Maddy's wedding gown allowed the versatility to accessorise, so she chose a cowgirl hat with her new initials engraved to complement her Western-inspired motif. New hubby, Tim matched effortlessly in a black cowboy hat and of course added a bolo tie.
Maddy’s wedding dress felt effortless and couldn't reflect her personality any better. It was undoubtedly a perfect match, allowing Maddy to feel like the best version of herself. Maddy shares, "I knew it was 'The One' because I felt confident, effortless, and completely myself."
